Google has officially halted production of one of its IoT products, the Google Home Mini. According to reports from 9To5Google, the device has been officially released since 2017 and has been listed as out of stock on the Google Store website.

Google Home Mini is a smart speaker that was released at the same time as Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. This product is the forerunner of Google Nest Mini, boasting a more powerful design, features, and capabilities.

With the discontinuation of Google Home Mini production, the company is believed to be concentrating its efforts on the upcoming Mini Nest product line. Although there is currently no word on whether Google will develop a successor to the Google Nest Mini.

The Google Home Mini is one of a variety of smart speakers available from a variety of brands, including Amazon Echo and others. If Google wishes to remain competitive, it appears that it must develop the next mini nest that will enter the entry-level market, allowing it to easily connect its ecosystem to other Google devices.
